People that do not own a dog should not pretend to know what they're talking about. Its perfectly normal for a dog to behave this way when he knows that he has been bad. Animals can be sad, happy or feel guilt aswel.

AHH! I have a short hair SABLE GSD too. She looks just like yours! Almost identical. Misha likes to pick through the garbage too haha. It's wonderful how dogs show emotion when they know that they've done something wrong haha.

I own a chow and he gets easily upset. If I look at him in the eyes and follow him everywhere he'll get scared and start ducking his head in shame. Luckily he never does anything bad unlike my chihuahua. NOTE: It is not an ordinary chow. He does not bite and idk why. He's a mix of we aren't sure what. Golden Retreiver? Eh, i guess we'll never know.
Shepherds have the funniest expressions. Mine will tuck her ears exactly the same way when I catch her in the act. All I have to do is look at her sternly. Then I give her a pat and she's back to running circles around me. They're hilarious.

She yelled at her over taking food from the trash. Its not about what she took from the trash- it could have been a pizza box or a jug filled with spoiled milk. Point is that she is not allowed to dig through the trash-- what if it had been chicken bones or chocolate or maybe the celery had some cleaning chemical on it? She could have made herself sick.
@spiffyshorts my husbands friend gave his dogs chicken bones and they didnt have any problems eating them .. i know they should NOT have chicken bones cuse it could splinter and get lodged in their throughts and choke but they eat them with no problem. but what they REALLY love is the ham bone! lol but they are really good dogs thou
@luke7137 Chocoalate doesn't make them sick, it messses with their liver function. Their (dogs) bodies can't process it, so too much can cause liver and kidney failure.
@spiffyshorts Um, it is the owner who needs to think ahead. If raising a puppy hasn't come naturally, pick up a book in it... think ahead. Beautiful puppy!!!! Could be worse, I feel bad for the pup still.
Don't worry, we were just playing with her to get this reaction on video...she gets PLENTY of hugs and kisses all day long :D She is by far one of the most spoiled and loved dog that has ever lived!

@marcosacha Shes not petrified with fear we use 'what did you do' with our dogs they just get really upset that they made the pack leader(s) angry. I believe its the same for her it's kind of an "i'm sorry" or guilty look

She's actually a really well behaved dog and she NEVER goes into the trash or tries to take food...this just happen to be a good opportunity to catch her "guilty look" on camera! We really weren't mad at her nor do we ever really reprimand her (like this) unless she does something REALLY bad. :D
