i've wanted one of mine for years, the idea has never changed about it so i know i want it; getting it for my 18th though because i've always had that in my mind. got 1 in october though (i'm 17) and it says grandma with 2 small interlocking hearts on my foot. she came to my own house though so it wasn't illegal for her :) looks really nice btw <3

It's rare in my school to have 15 year olds get tattoos at my school, but after 15, i feel like so many more people get them, and it's not a big deal! some people think it makes you a bad person because it's supposed to be painful. since when did just permanent ink and toughness make you a bad person. calm down with all the negativity.

I had my first tattoo when I was 15 and I´m from Germany where the laws are very strict for that it´s fine as long as your parents coming with you to the tattoo-studio and allow you to get one. now I´m almost 23 and I have 6 tattoos all over my body. I will get a few more. I love my body and I like to decorate it with pictures and notes which are important for me. I´m at university and I will have a job in management when I´m finished so it doesn´t mean you are antisocial or sth. ;)

Even with parental consent, it's illegal if you're under 18. It's irresponsible for any tattoo artist to tattoo a minor, which in the laws eyes is under 18. I don't think it's a massive deal that everyone is making it, it's only tiny and it seems to mean a lot to her, the only real problem i see when you get a tattoo at the age of 15 is that when you're 30 you might regret it but she has a lot of reason behind it and much like her singing, it's something that will always be with her.

Just be aware that you technically got an illegal tattoo and the place that did it, if ever caught doing underage tattoos, could get in trouble for it. im 15&have a tattoo aswell thea! it was done by a professional - professional tattooists within my family.it is on my ribcage and YES it did hurt! the first two lines(which were more on the bone) hurt about 7/10.the third line was more onto the flesh which was deffo a 10/10! my tattoo means alot to me and id NEVER regret it.i have loads more planned and i am starting to begin my portfolio so that i can start my apprenticeship once i leave school to become a tattoo artist+ a qualified piercer! x
