Resistance 2 couldn't possibly be as bad as you describe it. I have it, I beat it, and I've played a decent amount of online multiplayer. It's definitely not bad. Not perfect, but not BAD.

it's mos def worse than RFOM, which was a good game. And it looks horrible, even worse than RFOM. They nerfed the whole game to make that gimmicky and pointless 60pl MP. not everything is gfx, but in a title like this you'd think they at least tried to drop some jaws. Some parts look alright, but most of the game is uninspired and look absolutely terrible. Resistance franchise is dead to me.I'll never waste $ on it again and I don't think others will either. they just killed the franchise IMO.

I didn't think I ever would become a GFX whore, but after playing Dead Space, KZ2, GTAIV and BFBC you get spoiled.But It's more presentation and gameplay than GFX that makes games good.The presentation in R2 was so damn inconsistent that I was amazed the whole game was checked by the same quality control.

KZ2 and DS oooooozes of polish and if any game doesn't deliver the same degree of production value it's an instant let down. RFOM was a better end product and they failed to do the same w/ R2

Personally, I liked Resistance 1 better too. It showed more personality and a stronger sense of doom, and man vs alien. Resistance 2 seemed less... Dirty... Resistance 2's graphics are actually better, but I don't like how everything looks shiny and orange-colored. I don't know what 60pl MP is, but Resistance 2 is an alright game. It deserves a little credit for raising the bar on multiplayer.
