  • Cutting edge...

    Thanx

    Gary

  • out

  • mylow, the copper wire wrap on the stool braces is a cross-tee i made so that i can see when my horizontal rotor shaft is centered in the middle of the stool. the two wires cross and give me my center line, actually the side of the center line. once i know the rotor shaft is completely in line, i adjust the wires to give me my center reference during experiments. since there are no bearings it gives me a reference when the rotor shaft is completely centered and in it's best working alignment.

  • wat with the copper wire rap arount the stool suport beam.

  • nice. so low friction

  • Why don't you try to avoid the braking with a shield biased to either the attracting or repulsing side (whichever one you aren't using for motion)?

MuMetal is probably the most effective, but I have seen common flashing material (for roofing) accomplish the same result.

Looks good! Keep going and forget the profit, it is the end of everyone who has ever succeeded.

  • time to make some measurement on that setup and then scale up

  • Its the best design I have seen to date on the internet. I have a MAGLATCH device movie clip on U tube thats a close relative to what you have shown. I am selling the small working Maglatch model on Ebay now and constructing a huge version. We need to get together and share ideas. I am not into this for fame or fortune. Just need construction finances for a larger and more improved model.

  • very well done
