How many people have died because of Murdochs Propaganda Media Machine, always biased & mainipulative. As always mixing the truth up with the lies so that people can never really figure out what really is going on. They'll tell you what they want you to beleive & not report on the real issues when something big is going down if they choose so as not to imform you on to achieve the goal they wish to seek. Alternative media is the way to go, Mainstream Media is totally corupt

Sadly, his corporation, as he no doubt knows, is extremely manipulative in attempting to change society through so many manners. Psychologically, culturally, politically and economically are just some of the methods. Imagine what great feats he may have achieved if he directed his empire instead of the promotion of corporations but to the good of mankind.

@beepandbop no. Gordon Brown's poor judgement regarding financial regulation in 2005 meant unregulated banks flushed the economy down the toilet. Health care is fine - a shitload better than the farce of a system in the USA. Don't get me wrong - I don't like Labour, but Cameron's Big Society is closer to communism than Blair's sycophantic big-business escort service that was New Labour.

an intresting POV what would it be like to be a mass media operator/owner? Good interview and knowlege that is unique. Rupert Murdoch doesn't advocate for "free speech". He uses his media outlets to advocate for his agenda just like dictators do. Day to day events that occur are supposed to be used to interpret the political cycle. Not the other way around. Injecting a political bias into news censors the opposition and leads to blatantly hiding information that contradicts the bias of the outlet.

Rupert Murdoch is the last person who should be espousing his views on the media. Especially since he's one of the main figures whose perverted it. He's basically bamboozled his naive followers into thinking that political bias in the media (Fox News) is okay because it constitutes free speech, which is WRONG! ie Fox News only allows free speech for right wing conservatives. In a dictatorship, government run media only allows free speech for the government.
