prototype looks better.

i havent played this (and wont if it doesnt come to PC), but i have just started prototype, and its pretty awesome, so this has its work cut out.

and it not being multi-platform will go against it, too, i suppose.

prototype is on every major format, and any game that is stuck on one platform is always the loser in these kind of sell-off's, in my opinion.

same with killzone 2; PS3 gamers raved about it, but if i didnt know you, gamingeagle, i would never have heard of it

i agree. when i wrote that i was only a couple hours in, and having loads of fun. after another hour or 2 it did get really repetetive and boring. crap plot, only decent graphics, not the best. but even average graphics these days look pretty good, dont they?

and i dont have a console cos i dont need one, i have a mid-range PC, and PC is the best gaming platform, especially for shooters and strategy

PC is much better graphically, controls are much better for FPS and RTS, and online is better too

really? i have them and use them a lot. Especially when theirs the stronger guys. but once you get your shield a good stategy is upgrade your shield to where when its hit it gives you power then run with it and your blades and own everybody. It helps me a lot.

damn, i was pretty prejudiced against InFamous because of how Prototype fans were always badmouthing it and how cool Prototype looked. I'll admit the only information i had a full grasp on up until now was that a guy called Cole was in a horrific accident which gave him super electric powers and he could be good or evil. i was seriously put off by all kinds of things but now i'm a changed man. I'll defnintely be buying this when it comes out.

what im REALLY annoyed about is that, it LOOKS like there are only 2 attacks, bcause all the game play i have seen, all he does it throw/shoot the electricity, and then he does the other motion with both hands. i mean that already puts me off because it seems repetitive to me.

A question if I may, I've played many games saints row 2 the godfather 2 and I found out that when you complete the story of the game and see the credits roll you can continue the game when the credits end...my question is will infamous be like these games that when you go to the evil side and see the ending you can continue to terrorize or light and continue to save lives, or do you have to start a whole new game?

perhaps guys will help you fight if you're really good but to be honest most of the time those type of people get in the way and cause more trouble than good as your just gunna have to do more work to keep em alive.

I like the use of gameplay footage you selected. It's nice to just get some vibes about the game without the comments being swamped in lots of "Dude Prototype is much cooler!" talk. I'm going with inFamous because it looks good, the morality thing has potential to be even handed without a Gandhi/Hitler division and for the fact that Sucker Punchhave proven themselves with the criminally underrated Sly series. Them plus Insomniac and Naughty Dog always give a good game.
