@86rish Even the great Thomas Allen has his off-days sometimes. He even mentions a little slip up in his book during a production of Nozze in Japan in 1992: "For some reason -- tiredness, perhaps -- my concentration lapses in Act One of Figaro and a line of recit[ative] that comes out every night like a two-times table explodes on my tongue into the biggest stream of gibberish I've ever uttered on a stage. I thank God we're not at La Scala."
