internet cant be use outside japan and some other functions too. most of japanese phones dont play mp3 too, I want one so bad but Its not worth it its not gonna be used in Japan.

@Vanessatterfly LG = Cheap crap you will hate. My friend have the Crystal, they have to restart there phones like 3 times a day. Sharp is the right one for you.

i just brought this phone but then i when i put in my optus prepaid card in with this golden card thing. it says Unidentified USIM. any help here?

Sorry for removing two posts, but where would the best place to get the phone be? I will be going to Japan in a month, but what approach would be cheapest?

I am very new to the whole Japanese cellphone issue, and would love to especially have this one. So WHAT is needed in order for it to work? I've done quite a bit of research but haven't ever found one SOLID answer.

It all really depends on where you are, and what coverage is available in your country. Getting it from Japan won't be so easy either as you have to be a Japanese citizens in order to purchase a contract from most cell providers (like DoCoMo) it has to be an unlocked phone I don't think Japanese retail stores don't unlock the phones for you.

i have this phone too! you can save your videos to the micro-sd card for easy access.

I found USB from my Softbank cellphone box since DoCoMo doesnt have it...its worked since my Softbank is also SHARP

so far this phone is the only one in 907series that is working outside of japan. the sim unlock is released a while already. the price is somewhere between 600-700CAN.

Do you mean we can almost use the internet function outside of japan? There is some kinda iNEX SIM/HYPERSIM to unlock this cell, but not the internet related function. Thats what i heard.

Thank you for the comment. I'm sorry and. Because SIM lock is effective, this telephone can be basically used in Japan. However, if SIM lock is released, the thing used to talk over the telephone is possible because it corresponds to 3G and GSM.
