@XFallingInDarknessX In a place like that its actually better not to.Ive driven truck for many years and ive seen accident happen right in front of me.If i were to stop and render assistance ,I would have casued more trouble by being an object on the side of the road that other drivers would have hit when they went to avoid hitting the objects in the road from the accident.Its hard not to stop and assist but you really need to avoid the temptation to do so for your own sake and that of others.

In addition, from the sound and angle of the camera, it looks like he was driving a big vehicle that is unable to stop immediately...im not saying im right/you're wrong, im just stating what i think is happening.

Good question. Note the crash happened because debris, probably metal, left on the roadway, you can see at the start the car hitting it and losing control from it - probably immediate full tyre deflation on one of the front wheels.

Unfortunately but understandably the truck driver moved from the right hand lane into the path of the car, by staying in his lane or moving towards the impact on the barrier the truck would have missed, moving to the right would have been more of a race drivers move. Unless you are an EMT or paramedic, you do not remove a person from a wrecked car unless it is on fire. The safest and smartest thing you can do is call emergency services and relay the position of the wreck and condition of the occupants (bleeding, unconscious, and so on).
@rogerawong you move them only if they are in more harms way if not removed from the crash....It also depends on the state...Some states if you help someone they can turn around and sue you....

To the friggin lorry driver near Kincardine last week who thought just because I have a wee car he can shove me into the cars in the fast lane whilst cutting in - your a fucking asshole. If I hadn't managed to squeeze in behind the driver in the fast lane we were all shit - except he had more chance of surviing than me.

In the UK it is a criminal offence to leave the scene of an accident, even if you're not involved in said accident. You wouldn't screech to a halt of course, but you would apply your hazard lights and slow down gradually and try to pull over onto the hard shoulder.....eventually the police would arrive to put up appropriate road blocks and divert the rest of the traffic. You need to make a statement to the police about what you witnessed so you have to stop.
Why are ppl so upset that cars are driving on and not stopping?
Am I out of sync with the rest of the world or would the right thing to do be phoning the emergency services and keep on driving, rather than stopping and potentially causing more accidents and also hindering the emergency services getting to the car wreck.
Think a lot of non drivers are posting on these clips; if its a quiet street then sure, but on a maximum speed motorway you dont just stop and start crossing the damn road.

Cheap car that disintegrates- highway full of debris and crap- people drive by= the chinese way. And the elite seem to think we should be in awe of their amazing economy. Well if my wang worked a 20 hour day for $2 it would have its own football team by now.

Unless you are an EMT or paramedic, you do not remove a person from a wrecked car unless it is on fire. The safest and smartest thing you can do is call emergency services and relay the position of the wreck and condition of the occupants (bleeding, unconscious, and so on).

To the friggin lorry driver near Kincardine last week who thought just because I have a wee car he can shove me into the cars in the fast lane whilst cutting in - your a fucking asshole. I have all the respect in the world for good lorry drivers but those that just think their size controls where everybody else goes regardless of others safety are shits. If I hadn't managed to squeeze in behind the driver in the fast lane we were all shit - except he had more chance of surviing than me.

In the UK it is a criminal offence to leave the scene of an accident, even if you're not involved in said accident. You wouldn't screech to a halt of course, but you would apply your hazard lights and slow down gradually and try to pull over onto the hard shoulder.....eventually the police would arrive to put up appropriate road blocks and divert the rest of the traffic. You need to make a statement to the police about what you witnessed so you have to stop.

Why are ppl so upset that cars are driving on and not stopping?
Am I out of sync with the rest of the world or would the right thing to do be phoning the emergency services and keep on driving, rather than stopping and potentially causing more accidents and also hindering the emergency services getting to the car wreck.
Think a lot of non drivers are posting on these clips; if its a quiet street then sure, but on a maximum speed motorway you dont just stop and start crossing the damn road.
