this works, you have to get the odin compatible kernel though or it will fail, click the red link where it says download kernels and get the top odin one.

@mokht5O Is it recovery 3e? The you can do it by flashing a new kernel with Odin. The kernel will come with cwm built-in.

@illdoyourdrugs You should go to the development section for your phone on xda. There you will find custom kernels. Most of them will come with a custom recovery like clockworkmod built in. It will tell you in the first post of the thread for the kernel you choose. You can message me if you need more info.

Hello how are you? Ive watched/rated just about all your videos. I need some help from you please. you make very clear videos but i have an issue. i jumped on the galaxy s# vibrant bandwagon only about a month ago. i had eclair. i did an official froyo.UVKB5 update. Now im having 3e to clockwork issues. I can see you say to flash a kernal with CWM built in to solve the problem. How do i know which kernal is compatible and which one is the correct one to use?Any help is greatly appreciated.Thanks

Do you have any idea how to install 3e recovery on Samsung infuse, I find a procedure on xda developers but I don't know how to do it, the procedure was to download the zip and extract it but they didn't say where to extract, then use ADB SHELL or TERMINAL EMULATOR and mount is as read/write, I really don't know what that means, then For backup purposes, use adb or root explorer to rename the current recovery file in /system/bin to recovery.orig
