@TheIBEEBI yes. you can just use the food coloring on your hair, or you can mix it with a little bit of white conditioner. Then just apply, put a shower cap on, i recommend blow drying it with the shower cap on just so the color sticks, then wait a couple of hours, and wash out.

@bribrigal1000 Well the sugar will not let the actual dye used to make kool-aid to be absorbed by your hair and will not come out the way you want it. Also sugar can make it very sticky and cause your hair cuticles to be clogged. And that is exactly what you don't want trust me :)

i just boil water mix the kool aid in set my hair in it for like 1 minute take it out of the bowl let it set for another minute and its all good it takes 5 minutes and it looks good but my hairs light colored

when i died my hair with koolaid i put 2 black cherries and a 1/2 pk of watermelon cherry with water in a bowl(doesn't have to be too big) and put my hair in the bowl for 5 minutes then blow dried and i had burgundy hair and it lasted for almost a year!!!
