For example World War 2, our government provoked japan to attack Pearl Harbor, therefore we went to war. Same thing with 9/11. We used it as an excuse to go to iraq for natural resources(oil). @skater3shefik you're right, the nazi war was worth fighting for, but we provoked japan by taking conrtol over hawaii, then cutting their trade with us. If you take a good look at hawaii on a globe, its pretty much in the middle of the pacific, which is pretty much in between japan and the U.S. Then to cut trade just topped it off. What better place for japan to attack then pearl harbor in hawaii.
