  • Any chance of 'Jobfinder'?'?

  • The music is BART by Tom Fogerty & Ruby from the album "Ruby". A remix of it can be found on the album "Precious Gems"

  • Did I really miss Who Dares Wins on Channel 4 again?!

  • Does anyone know what the track is ? I think it's fairly famous piece of library music ?

  • Can we have some bamboozle action?

  • Trying too hard. 3/10

  • I have to say this is just about the funniest thing I've seen on the web in a very long time.

And forget the technicalities on whether it's widescreen or distorted properly. Just laugh - this is brilliant.

Well done to all concerned... :-)

  • Excellent stuff. I'm sure I've heard that tune a few times in the past too!

  • Hats off, that was pretty bloody good.

  • but get rid of the w-widescreen! widescreen wasn't invented in the tvcream era!

    or was it?

  • ignore the last bit about resolution, i just saw the hi quality button :-/

  • quite good but a couple of comments

the distortion at 0.49 looks artificial, also the pages move on a bit too quick (are they at the same speed as ceefax?) and finally it doesn't really suit youtube, stick the resolution up a notch so we can read it better. apart from those gripes i thought it was ace, classic ceefax music too...its like its 6.30am 1982 all over again :-)

next try an do an open university one :-)

  • Nice One, I'll start reading the film e-mail again!, But how can you top this ??

  • What is point?

  • It's a spoof of British Teletext in the 1980's on VHS. I think you had to be there really ;)

  • Yes - I know. I was just replying as suggested in the text. A poor attempt a a joke unfortunately.

  • Ah right. Watched this ages ago and forgot that bit ;)

  • Superb. Saturday mornings on BBC2 come flooding back.

Can we have digi-cream times like this, please?

  • 'Lewis Collins not in Tortoise form' - still genius after all these years. Classic Ceefax proggy trac too. Well done

  • That was funny - excelently done and the best "fake" of VHS damage I've ever seen - you should teach the TV channels how to do it!

  • Oh this was brilliant thanks. TVC Films isn't my favourite mailout, but I had to just see where you were going with this and I'm glad I did. Very funny and accurate. Much like the real thing, even down to the need to 'hold the image' to read it.

    Bravo. Seriously. Pure class.
