wow! These cops are ace. Really polite, reasonable....If it had been on the continent, particularly Italy, Spain etc this chap would have got a beating lol! Good old Bobbies lol...
dan101uk: Are you insinuating that: if I attend a demonstration, which is apparently my COMMON LAW RIGHT, then I become subject to some rule, (contract), which I have not verbally agreed with or signed anything to say I will act in compliance to the thing, that I can be denied my Human Rights?
Who are you really?! And more importantly, will you answer my question?
This is nothing to do with human rights the police are there to keep people out. You knew that those officers wouldn't let you through, why make an issue out of nothing?
So, having posted this bit - is there a follow-up? What response did you get from the senior officer? If you were then allowed to deal with the situation, what is the issue?
The real protesters are denied there right to do so. Yet the cops allow the provocateurs to bust up the unboarded RBS building which they said they were going to target to begin with. Just a way to bring in the totalitarian state quicker! Get the public to outrage against actions allowed by the cops. Enjoy your Tyranny. Down with the NWO
I saw the police deny regular people the opportunity to protest about issues that are going to affect everyone
the police manipulated the situation to take the focus off of these issues
I'm not an anarchist, and i didnt condone the violence- but where is the media footage of the cause, climate change, financial crisis, human rights, war
and by the way they were thousands of people throughout the event, at 12:30 they stopped letting people out.
Bloody protestors, the police did an amazing job yesterday putting down the anarchists and stopping them from setting fire to the whole of the city of London which they would of loved to do.
Its funny how at one stage there were 1000s of people inside the areas blocked by the police and that number slowly descreased over time.. clearly some people were let out. Perhaps u went to the wrong entrance? :)
Maybe you need to watch some more go videos. Maybe you need to see the dancing, and the music, and the poetry slams. The vast majority of protesters were peaceful. Of course, at every protst there is going to be a few nuts (A good thirty out of thousands, and not even the group the finger was pointed at either!) but then the police are no better. Poor Mr. Tomlison, executed for walking a bit too slow...
Ofcourse the vast majority of protestors were peaceful, just the same way that the overwhelming majority of police acted within the law. Those who act outside of the rules will be punished be they police or protestors
Our police tactics are far more restrained and reasonable than other countries such as in Europe where they use water cannon and rubber bullets / tear gas. Id rather the methods used such as kettling here thanks
Everyone knew the protests may turn nasty, police had to use force

"cos basically yeah, I is gonna ask dis coppa"...
Not impressed "bruv", the police are there to stop you getting past and you know it. Have your little giggle and your YouTube moment

Wow dan101, that was a bit of a personal outburst,
I was simply highlighting the fact that at a peaceful protest we were denied our basic rights,
In terms of the 'I is' and 'bruv' comment that sounds a bit snooty doesnt it? using the age old cliche of mocking (innacurately) how someone speaks,
Get out of your little pretentious shell and open your horizons a bit.

I hope you got his number. IPCC them all.

And what will that achieve exactly? Other than wasting the IPCC's time, which could be spent investigating legitimate complaints.

You had the right to protest, they didn't remove you of the streets.
