@flexicon1996 the truth about the use of the fish eye is that this game was being made when 3d platforming was brand new and they were trying to make the game seem as "3d" as possible. this was back before even mario 64 (which set the standard for 3d platforming and exploration) was released.

@MamaLuigiBarrelRoll I didn't like Galaxy AT ALL. The last great flagship Mario game was Sunshine. It looked ilogical from a certain point of view (watery jetpack), but that didn't make the game not being fun. In fact, since the days of 3D Mario games, Sunshine was for me the biggest milestone Nintendo achieved, and I might even compare it to Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World when it comes to fun factor.

@flexicon1996 they did the fisheye effect mostly for a sense of speed. I'd like to see it in a new sonic game, it'd look pretty cool I think.

All of the soundtrack songs, including Space Queens, are conceptual. Used to inspire the developers.

I can't get over how cool this looks. The way the camera works and the fish-eye stuff is absolutely brilliant. Why on earth would they scrap this project..?
