Don and done. They tried goggles; expensive and low res. Then nVidia came along and got things right. Check out 3D vision. If you have 2 graphics cards then you can do it on 3 monitors. :)

The monitors shouldn't be more than $150 a piece, if you got anything with a dual core or higher you shouldn't have any problem running Dirt 2 so i guess that's about $400 for a basic computer with 4GB of ram, a decent graphics card would go for $150-300, a G25 is about $250-300 if you can find one.

In total that would be $1 250-1 450, a far cry from $35 000.

Well, if we submerge it in a tank filled with mineral oil, dump the tank in to a freezer, use a raid of 4 ssd's, overclock the i7 to about 4,2-4,5 ghz, then I think there would be no problem unleashing the quad xfire 5870's power.

I agree with your comments about the game the menu interface spoils it for me.. The rally sections are amazing though. I'm using a G27 on a Panasonic Ae4000 projector with a WRC playseat.. Your missing on a lot if you dont have a playseat with the wheel. Look at the new richy burns rally mate and some of the Rfactor F1 mods are spectacular. More sim, eyecandy not up there with dirt 2, but the physics make for a more enjoyable game.. Keep up the vids. Top work.
