Hope you can help, I've never really used camera flashes with PC cords & wondered if they're generally 1 size? I bought a flash off eBay for my 430 Landcamera but the plug doesn't fit fully in the PC socket on the camera, It seems really tight. Anyway, I just wondered if there were a few makes and models you could recommend as I can't find the one you use anywhere here in the UK. Well, I've blabbed on enough now! Thanks in advance - J
@Jonobi06 Hi. For the 430 camera you'll need a different flash holder. Regarding the flash, I recommend the Vivitar 252 flash. Remember, you'll need the bracket. Please send me an email for more details. - Michael
I haven't tried this, but I guess that with the automatic cameras you could block the electric eye with something opaque, so the camera would see only darkness, then the shutter should stay open for as long as you hold the shutter button down. You'd have the equivalent of 'bulb' mode on a normal camera.

cant you also do the light paint thing with the manual Polaroid pack cameras without lowering the light level? (the 180, 190,195)

@samthelegoman1 Yes, you are correct! The 180,190 and 195 are manual cameras.
