Hey can you put all your lessons from start to finish in a playlist? That way we don't have to move the guitar and find your next video. It will really help a lot not to mention increase the views by a pretty big number!
Come on people! Read the fucking title! It says FOR BE-FUCKING-GINNERS!!! stop whining over the fact that he's actually doing this so beginners can understand it! jesus! you have to imagine that he's teaching people (like me) who's never ever held a guitar, and been able to actually play it, let alone make a proper tune!
I wanna play guitar. So i think this guide is awesome. Besides for someone who doesnt know how to play or use guitar. I think he did pretty nice guide.
Pretty Cool lesson here, Covers the topic quite well. Ive just made a bunch of detailed courses for beginners and advanced guitarists that you might be interested in. Check it out! would love to know what you and anyone watching this video thinks. Its totally free, and i mean TOTALLY
hello!!..i am a complete new person in playing guitar..could you post a video on how to play the song outlandish aishah..really appreciated it if you could do that..:D
10: B String Tuning for Beginning Guitar 11: Tuning Guitar with Electric Tuner for Beginners 12: Reading a Diagram for Beginning Guitar 13: Exercise 1 for Beginning Guitar 14: Playing Exercise 1 for Beginning Guitar 15: Playing Exercise 1 Backwards for Beginning Guitar 16: Alternate Picking for Beginning Guitar 17: Guitar Tablature for Beginners 18: Playing the Tablature for Beginning Guitar 19: Major Scale for Beginning Guitar 20: Guitar Lessons for Beginners: Different
Lessons 13 and 14 may be swapped around. I was a bit unsure due to the picking in the Exercise 1 Backwards video, as he alt picks in it. Also, both lesson 6 and 8 say that the next lesson is tuning the guitar, so I just put it as lesson 8.
Anywho, please thumbs up so everyone who watches the videos can see the order. (Y)
And please leave thanks to Bryan and expertvillage.
Thanks for making these videos; they may seem unnecessary to people who can actually play, like teaching someone how to sit down at a piano, but they're actually really helpful to us noobs ;)
can you please teach me why should we never hold the electric guitar too high like the man on the video did?
I would like to know what problems can it bring.
See I used to watch Alex Turner, from arctic monkeys, holding it that way, too high, but nowadays he has changed his posture, holding it lower these days.
I used to hold it higher too because reaching the frets was easier and my hands weren't tired at the end of one song.
If you want to learn guitar come to my channel i will teach you anything you need to know subscribe too me watch my videos rate email me with any questions and i will answer them for you take care, mike.
i am thinking about getting a avenge sob but i have to hold the guitar the other way and the body stile is very different i dont think it would be as comfortable can anyone give me there opinion?
If you are a beginner and just started learning than these positions are just fine. It's comfortable. Just a small remark though. After a while practice in a standing position as well. Cause maybe you want to play in a band sometime? And then you won't be sitting around but standing. And it feels, well, different.
i got a question im a begginer...And i need to know about some guitars.I can see that there are different sounds in guitar but how do i set them up on my electric guitar,i have only the acoustic sound :S?
He said it was just about what feels more confortable to you, and it's true, even though some positions might turn it harder, but you'll know when you do them.
How great is this guy? He teaches the most basic, fundamental lesson on how to hold a guitar without making you feel stupid. I bet he was bored with this one, though--hahaha.
@UBUIBME8 It takes skill to teach people basic things, and it's a lot of responsibility. Teaching somebody wrong technique can cripple their playing for a long time until they realize it.
I would really like to see some more advanced things, solo techniques from this guy.
