im doing this piece for my grade 8 violin exam (A.M.E.B.)
some minor performance errors everyone makes, could put a little more emotion into it. lol just try and be like maxim vengerov (youtube him) with emotions. it does work.
also you could try and drag the pice around (this is hard to do but sounds very impressive if you can stay in time)
What would really make it perfect (except the very littles timing errors) would be to use your right hand fingers and wrist. This way the last part in double-stops would sound way better. ;-)
thanks for the msg. funny that my computer has crashed several times and without the storage on youtube, i would have lost some videos forever. so now we are at youtube's diposal:), regards
Well honestly for being 7 years old and doing this for fun rather than to become famous, I think she's doing a marvelous job. I am 21 and have played the piano since I was 18 months old and I STILL do not have timing down 100% of the time. Timing is incredibly difficult...and I think regardless of the timing issues here, she is doing an amazing job. If you hadn't pointed it out, I wouldn't have even noticed :)
She just moved up to a 3/4. Its a little big. Lol, it takes time to get used to a bigger instrument... However I started on a full size but when my best friend moved up to the same size, she had intonation problems. This child is amazing. She's now eight and playing kreisler... What more can you ask for?
Lol, they say an instrument sounds as good as the instrumentalist... This girl is amazing. Lol, she could make a "toy violin" sound like a concert violin...
Wow, she and her teacher have done fantastic work together - she's so efficient in her movements in this vid. And getting a tremendous sound. Such quick progress . Congratulations and admiration from me. Do you stretch her on the rack every night - she's going to outgrow that 3/4 before she's 10.
almost perfect performance :)

amazing sound ... but the semiquaver passages are rather unsteady tempo-wise, even taking into account expression. yeah just my two cents worth (:

Great progress! However, it seems this piece is a bit beyond her intonation abilities.

She is brilliant!
Is she meant to be less than 10? She looks at least 11 here already.

I think she's 7 or 8. She's tall for her age, but her face is young (you can't really see on this video).
lilly763 3 years ago 2
Yeah. She uses a 3/4. She is very talented!!!
WhitelighterMae1832 3 years ago 3
Oh right: that's even more amazing for someone so young! It's hard to tell how old someone is on a video.
She's wonderful!
HJA1982 3 years ago 2
She is a rare talent. She actually enjoys plying and she can already implement emotion and whatnot into her playing. She smiles too:P Just amazing!
