If you really wanna be specific... only the 1990-1995 (maybe some 1996) Eclipses, Talons, and Lasers are DSM's as Diamond Star Motors changed to Mitsubishi Motors Manufacturing America in 1995.

1995 -1996 Avengers and Sebrings have the DSM marking.

Some of the earlier 90's Mirages, Summits, Colts, and Galants were built at the DSM Facility.

Galant VR-4s are only built in Japan.

EVO's are also not DSM's because they too were all built in Japan.

DSM does NOT refer to the 4G63.

@schuffeln wow I'm surprised at the ignorance on turbos here. bigger turbo's don't take longer to spool up to push the same amount of air as a smaller one. A psi is the measure of how much pressure is in the chamber, not the total volume, bigger turbo is more air, but what you lose on bottom end isn't always worth the gain. Go to school and work on turbo'd cars and learn something.

It's not a full t4 turbo. It's a t3/t4 setup. Big difference. Also a 50 trim is much more efficient than a 60 trim.

IF a t25 could put out 20 psi then YES but they cant on eclipses. the engine doesn't care what is putting the air in it just as long as its getting there.once again 20 psi is 20 psi.people just do turbo upgrades to achieve 20 psi at higher rpms.the t25 wont put out over 15 psi after about 5k.....why argue when you cant state any facts...in every comment i leave a fact...you just say im stupid...so prove im stupid by stating a fact proving me wrong...dont just say im sadly mistaken...explain why.

Steaths and 3000GT's are NOT DSM's for the last time. Diamond Star Motors were manufactured out of a plant in Normal, Illinois. These cars included Talons, Eclipses, Lasers, and Galant VR-4's. 3000gt's and Stealths were manufactured at an entirely different plant.
