I just went this past week on the Wonder and it was incredible. The Capt. said to cover our ears when then horns go. They are very loud. Castaway Cay is astonishing. I was able to go parasailing there.

the disney cruise is better than other cruiselines, and it's so big you don't "see a million little kids running around", in fact the kids are so entertained by the staff that the parents have tons of free time to themselves and there are tons of adult only places on the ship!

i went on the cruise and to be honest there weren't alot of kids, alot of teens though. everyone was really nice and having a good time. my waiter was my best friend on the ship. lol

Kids on the ship have their own special area (Stay off deck 5), preteens have their own area (Deck 2 midship), and teens have their own area even further away (forward funnel), and adults have their ow secluded areas scattered over the ship.

So don't worry about "millions of little kids", you won't see them that much.

It's comes from the speakers around, it's not the air horn as most ships blows, the Jwewish, I mean Disney Line also has a airhorn like all ships. those arent speakers! The horns are actually 4 different size horns . A computer controls relay valves which open said horn to full air pressure, making them honk in that tune. They can blow together in a normal blast for port operations and warnings. Speakers?! come on man....

Idon't know where you got that idea but it's incorrect. The whistles are real. They are locaded in the forward part of the forward mast below the navigation whistles. You can see them from the basketball court
