The switch between even and odd harmonics isn't unique. The A/DA flanger also has that switch.

i have been doing nothing but having fun with it. i'm trying to gain some insight for how to apply it, not play with it. so my question is necessary, for someone who is not sure what delay time has to do with flange, or what a flanger's threshhold is.

its and alien effect to me, i'd like to understand it better.

i got the best overdrive sound after i studied gain and how it works. i'm applying that same strategy here.

so anyone have some real answers?

From my limited knowledge of guitar pedal modeling, I think that Level means volume, Threshold is how low (quiet) a volume, or something else is permitted (in this case the threshold cuts off quieter sounds so that only tones past a certain volume pops up) Range is how wide a spectrum is alotted (from how low to how high), Speed is how quickly the range is traveling up & down. Harmonics is other frequencies that are simulated (like higher overtones), & enhance adds feedback (like alien sounds.)

Oh and Manual I think might be delay, which is how late the effect is heard after the original signal it's layering (how "delayed" the flange is to the original tone, or how tight and composite the tone will be.) Activate is obviously the "On" button to use the pedal. I hope that helps :). It seems like a great pedal, haha; enjoy it :).

I think this is the earliest version of the pedal. On the later versions the level knob has been moved to another place, and the Harmonics button is where the level knob used to be.
