i was 94 with 5 onyx medals, with the kantus, almost all fortification maxed and now : lvl 1 and nothing, at least my achievements stayed...

someting similar happen here, i got my rank but all my campaign progess got reset and horde, i got all my medals ribon and rank, but no campaign progress no collectibles,no horde progres, i got all my fornifications but the horde progres count like i never pass any wave,, this is weire i hate it,wtf epic fix your game,,same shit as gears 2.,,,fuck this game need t be fix asap ,,,.......

I was playing Horde just finished wave 19 then my Xbox froze turned it off then back on again now im rank 1 and everything gone i had like 10 Onyx medals. I havnt played any other games or played an online match yet. Any thing i can do to fix it? btw i was rank 94.

I was level 77, with 9 Onyx medals. I get on this morning, i'm on hte main menu, then I unplugged my Thumbdrive from the XBOX (It is not configured and only has movies on it) then I get a message saying "Storgae Device has Changed". It sent me back to the title screen. But I dunno why because the Thumb Drive has nothing to do with the XBOX at all, just movies. I hit start, I am now level 1, no medals, ribbons, nothing. So, I had 77, 9 onyx, 98% ribbons, and maxed every fortification. FUCK EPIC!

@EnragedArts Pretty self explanatory not to change your save device, it would change and then give you a new player data. Try delteting player data and then going back on-line to fix it

@VideoFletcher I've tried everything. And like I said, IT WAS NOT A SAVE DEVICE! It was a random, non-configured Thumb Drive with a couple of movies on it, removing it should have no effect. Dumbass.

So fuck EPIC, fuck gears, MW3 tomorrow. I loved all 3 of the GOW's, but not giving decent customer support, or fixing this issue, is plain bullshit. "We're working on it". My ass you are. I disconnected while I left a horde match lvl 1 when I went to main menu then I turn the xbox off and sign in to xbox live and go into gears and all 55 lvls back

Well, I did beat the campaign on 4 player co-op and insane but I am still mad. All my campaign progress reset, but I still have my medals and stuff like that. I accidentaly started campaign and signed out, and then it happened. I played a couple of games and only then I noticed, also I was wondering why the game asked my preferences too. So then I found out a whay to solve only to be cock blocked by the fact that I played games and gained exp. Damn you EPIC!!!

This just happened to me today. Level 54, medals and ribbons, executions, characters, skins all gone. But for some reason my one medal is still there. And I also notice the leaderboards still remained. Someone from epic better fix this!

Happened to me yesterday...During the loading screen of gears starting up, the game prompts me to update so i do...Rank reset..-_- Then like a dumbass, i proceed to play a multiplayer match.... GF rank and stats.. :(

This happened to me but my rank, medals, and stats did not get reset. My campaign got reset all my collectables, all insane gameplay finished all reset. How do i fix this my account is glitched and idk wtf to do I can even re-find the collectables it wont show but it says its still locked help please!

How to get your rank back:

Once you notice you have been deranked to level 1 DO NOT play another game, instead, delete and recover your gamertag and your rank should be restored. This has been confirmed by other players.

If you did play another game since u lost ur rank, unfortunately the game probably has overwritten your new level 1 rank on the system :(

Gears 3 is a better game by a mile and atleast you can tell the developers put ALOT more of effort into it... COD is another story...

@facecowed I dont think I fixed it. I just clicked storage device and set it to my hardrive again and the n signed back in. I reckon its just glitched and the sign in did the trick
