There is no doubt that there was a time in the past that the RB26 in the GTR's set a new benchmark for performance vehicles. Meaning GTR"s dominated other production cars so bad that they were forced to come up with much better cars. in other words we can thank the GTR for pwning other production cars so bad it forced them to make such high performance cars today. Amazing, from last to first within 30 seconds of the first lap, and no doubt from that point on it widened the lead significantly. No wonder these cars dominated wherever they went in the racing world when the R32 was first released.
