My sister got this for her birthday one year. It most certainly does not work like in the commercial. It's almost impossible to draw on it without smudging or messing up your picture. Plus, the colors are muddy and not as pretty as advertised. We kept it around for years for some reason.

I remember this thing and NEEDING to have it. I was a piece of crap though. There was a rainbow background with black goop all over it and you attempted to move this "goop" around with a stick. I feel bad that my parents wasted money on this lol Although I really loved those markers. Those were pretty awesome :P

I got one when I was little, after relentless months of begging... It doesn't work like that :( It's a piece of cardboard, essentially, with a rainbow printed on it. On top of that, there's black gel gooey stuff, which is covered in plastic. Moving around the black goo exposes the rainbow board underneath. Trying to draw anything with lines near each other smushes the goo around so it ruins what you have already drawn. Aw.

Yes; I think you can order it online. Supposedly it sucks though ... I never had one. Some people swear by it. Try Amazon or just Google it. I almost ordered one earlier this year until I read reviews of it.

It's true--it's absolutely TERRIBLE.

My mother ordered one for me and one for my brother. Forty unfortunate dollars went to that Marvin on that fateful day...

Basically you smear the black goo around. The goo covers a rainbow design, so when you get rid of the goo, the colors show.

They might as well have filled the thing with milk rather than goo. It wouldn't have made it any more difficult.

I wish I could meet this so-called "Marvin" along with all his other disappointed customers.
