@Wolvve Yes! I have had several gopher/bull snakes as pets over the years. It's best if you catch them young and hold them a lot. They huff and puff a lot, but like many of the people have commented, once you pick them up they're sweet as can be.

i cant wait until my bullsnake gets to be about 5 feet. all it does is hide and when i try to pick it up it hisses at me. its only about 6 weeks old

Bull Snakes are great snakes to own. My big female used to hiss like that, but once out of her viv........she was as soft as a soft thing!

@thedustcart Mines exactly the same. She would occasionally strike at the glass, but once you got her out she calmed down instantly!
