  • this is not anti gravity only magnetism

    fuck it!!!

  • _Did experiments on thees at home, yeah it works, and still its useless.

    Childs play.

  • cool electric wave power neat o max antigravity visual stealth tokyoprofessor invisible coat

  • @Milkkookie Yeah, so your point being? That it is a lot of work? You lazy bastard.

  • @Milkkookie Yeah, you film something, cut it into frames and photoshop each frame. Then, you put all the frames back together and recreate the clip. That might work.

  • Fake! Photoshop! Dumpert!

  • @bertjuhnl It's actually not fake but based on scientific principle of gravity (the weight of the top) being equal to the magnetic force. Google it. There are lots of Levitron examples.

  • dumpert

  • DUMPERT!

  • Er is altijd een stelletje zwitsals dat het nodig vind.

  • Guinness (Y)

  • Dumpert!!!

  • Dutch people always with their "Dumpert" wtf?! lol... ik ook hoor ;)

  • dumpert!

  • dude! get your hands away for the camera

  • DUMPERT(L)

  • dumpert

  • all i could think about was ocean's 11....

  • Who's the dumb camera man?

  • i saw this at royal show

  • This is magnetism not anti gravity. Its a cool experiment but its clear you dont understand gravity at all. You state "when the gravity at the top balances the magnetism" this is wrong. Gravity is a constant. What you mean is when the weight and the magnetic pull are of equal and opposite force etc etc. Still you did well with your experiment and it looks very cool. One last thing, what was the camera guy doing exactly????????????? Very annoying.

  • What "explanation"? I want to see what is in the base, and I want to know how it works, so I can maybe make one...

  • @OregonDARRYL its just two magnets with the same polarity facing each other. The centrifugal force is what is keeping the top balanced.

  • @Scienceboy42 Sorry, but that won't work. the top magnet - spinning or not will fall off of one lower magnet. there has to be at least three lower magnets.

  • @OregonDARRYL yeah I think I just forgot that the world was 3 dimensional... its like having spheres if you have one it could fall off in any direction 2 would fall off on either side 3 would keep the sphere on top from falling anywhere.

  • whats that idiot doing to the camera with his hand..

  • @sdhdgasd that "idiot" was my 4 year old son.

  • @jwr64 so next time dont let your son being there when ur filming ... lesson learned :P

  • lol nevermind they have a device called the perpetuator that does it for longer and is an electromagnet. lol.

  • 100 dollar bet using either more batteries or an electric generator with that and using a larger magnet will produce longer float times, being carerfull to shield for shock.

  • i bet you that becuase that would make it to heavy so it would fall

  • yes no wires, unless thier behind the unit so def using a small battery. you wont get that much lift using a small electrical source.

  • most likely your noticing that it falls when it falls to the edge of the bottom round area, due to the bottom magnets small size.

  • thats bigger bottom magnet, that is an electromagnet using a battery?

  • .I would increase the size of the magnet and electrical output of the magnet if thats an electromagnet in the bottom to increase float time, taking safety precautions for shock. secondly i suspect this video is faked because it cuts at several points if your trying to illustrate this is a two minute float.

  • @Netfruitcakemagnet i got one to float for about 3 minutes

  • thatsn ot defying gravity, thats using magnets against eacvh other or whatever.

  • Try doing that with a storm Pegasis 105RF

  • which weights did you use, mine keeps falling over?

  • Use the weights that came with it. Remember that you are adjusting in milligrams, so it has to be precise. Also, you can see there is a cloth underneath. I found it also works only if it is perfectly balanced. But don't give up!

  • i bet u can make it look like a ufo useing clay, paper, carboard or something

long as it is evenly distrbeuted

  • whare do u buy it

  • thinkgeekDOTcom

  • i wish it was called floating gyroscope thingy instead of anti gravity. its cool but no ufo

  • i can't get mine to work!

  • great job getting the top up guys!

  • where can you get one and how much

  • on the internet $30 their cool

  • do a little expriment than just pasing things under it but other than that it's a great toy

  • A cinematic tour de force! The lighting, direction, acting ... all A-one! Two thumbs up! Five stars! I think I hear Oscar knocking!

  • Great video!
