Kimi is a great driver, but please, stop overblowing how good he is, you're making him look overrated. I think Kimi will do excellent this season, because he is an excellent driver. But is he really in a class of Hamilton, Schumacher and Alonso and friends?

As for Vettel, I don't care what anyone says, he is a truly incredible driver. "Oh its the car - the car - the car", what he is doing is so exceptional, that I think people can't accept it to be true.

@nickJod1234 Raikkonen is a leaugue above all those drivers you just said. It is a fact among F1-experts that Kimi is among the most natural talanted drivers in F1 history (just like Senna). He had only participated in 23 car-races before his F1-debut whereas drivers like Hamilton have driven way over hundred races before their debut. Kimi didn´t have any sponsors whatsoever with him and both Mclaren and Ferrari wanted to sign him after his first year in F1.

Yeah he is naturally talented. But so are some other drivers that you and I don't know, but they never had the luck. Don't forget Hamilton won a title in his second year in F1, Alonso won two titles in a row, Vettel is the youngest ever champion, and Schumacher?... well what do I need to say.

@nickJod1234 And you talk about Senna. I am not a Senna fan, but the footage I have seen of him driving shows unbelieveable manouvres and control. But Senna was not just talent, he worked hard behind the scenes to build a great car and he won one title and wanted to win a million more titles, and he made an effort to do some annoying interviews lol. I'm not trying to doubt Kimi, I'm just saying some people are getting excited and saying he is the best everywhere.

My point wasn´t that Hamilton,Alonso etc isn´t good drivers but that Kimi jumped in an F1 car and stuned everyone with how quick he was(and he had NO major sponsors). Alonso would not be driving that Ferrari if it wasn´t for Santander you know. But Teams still wanted to hire Kimi. All those drivers you said have had more success but none of them would be able to take the 2009 Ferrari and make it a race-winning car. Kimi managed that...

@aMUSEing90 That race was excellent for Kimi, but Alonso isn't at Ferrari only for Santander, he has two championships to his name as well, and enough wins. When Vettel came into the sport, it was not about sponsors either. Teams/drivers were keeping an eye on him, noticing him winning in his events, and as a kid, just like Kimi, it was clear this kid got F1 potential for the future. Then he won a race (I think Monza) in Toro Rosso. So try not to underestimate other drivers talent.

In Formula 1 is ony pick the best drivers at the time. I dont car about the cars

First it was Mika Häkkinen, (Reason - Best driver i have seen)

Then it was Kimi Räikkönen (Reason - Mika retired next best driver ive seen)

Last Couple of Seasons it was Vettel (Reason - Kimi Retired next best driver ive seen)

Now i choose Kimi again.

I personally think this is a big deal or at least has the possibilty of being a big deal. Kimi is an F1 champion with tremedos skill but the only drawback is the simple fact that todays F1 racecars are completly different than the ones he drove just a few years ago. Today, its moreso about the car rather than the skill of the driver. Case in point..Vettel, who is a great driver but surly wasnt on the leader board just a few years ago. Its the car. and if Kimi doesnt have a good car.........
