i got a question. my friend and i play online gathering hall and it takes twice as long for us to kill a monster together than it does alone. why is this?

Monsters are harder than normal depending on how many players are initiated during the quest. EX: 1 player= normal difficulty, 2 players= dificulty x2 I believe, etc...

Yes, it is almost mandatory to have if you plan on playing online via xlink kai. There are other forms connection, but those are hard to get configured so wi-fi max is the safest route. The only other way i know is through ad-hoc mode with the PS3, which requires i think a japanese account or something to that affect.

Oh I use PS3, and yes you need to download adhoc from a japanese account to get it. But it's easy to use though even it's in japanese text. =)

the sword is probably the upgraded form of: Aqua Guardian, materials used are 5x Purecrystal, 20x Union Ore, 3x Basarios Tears, 12x Eltalite Ore. Hope that helps u out!

Yeah i think it is possible. The custom quest editor from what i heard is very flexible when it comes to making quests of your own.
