an alternate way to do this (with or without a track because i've done it both ways) is to have the hair in a ponytail (all yours or yours + track) and put a sock donut over the ponytail with the hair still sticking through. then fan out hair over the sock donut so it covers all of the donut evenly. easiest way is to stick your finger in the middle of ponytail and push outwards. then secure with a second scrunchie. if u want to see step by step pics, message me. makes a great messy bun!
@cutiepiesensei I've done sock buns in the past for performances. I just felt like it was a little drying to my hair and I didn't like the "sock-y look". That's actually why I came up with this method, to ditch the sock, lol.

I do the same thing except I use braid hair and braid the hair around my hair. This has grown my hair like crazy!!! Great video!!
