Only problem with this thesis, the seat belt doesnt actually stop your internal organs moving during a collision.
There is an arguement that it is better to be flung clear of the vehicle and for the body to be slowed down gently rather than being stopped by the impact with the seat belt.
but it is in most cases better than breaking your skull or organs on your steering wheel, or your dashboard.
and if you get flug out of your vehicle it is rather unlikely that you dont get hurt. It is highly probable that your body will be stopper rather rude by a tree, a rock another car, a wall or whatever.
@PadrinoDonLindo this guy in taiwan hit a van at 190kph head on he flew off his bike over the van and skipped along the road and lived he was fine he got up the van driver died instantly ........the van driver was sleeping and veered into oncoming lane at 90kph
@jonathane1976 Darlin', more people were killed by being thrown out of their cars before seatbelts were standard that you can imagine. It is never better to be flung from your vehicle.
@jonathane1976 It is a simple physics problem, in the equation for force the only varible is the time it takes to reach 0mph. The heavier the mass the longer it takes to reach 0mph which reduces the force. The seatbelt makes you part of the mass of the car and the force reduction is applied to you as well. Sudden deceleration kills you and your chances of survival are much better with a seatbelt on because it makes you part of the car.
god dammit ive got the same name as him );
