that was a fun game as a cougar fan. we showed heart, and sometimes that is what wins games. i said the only way we could win is if we knocked bradford out of the game.................... well, nuff said. Bradford is pure class though. I hope he tears it up in the NFL. That Oklahoma team was fun to watch when all their cats were healthy.

@alexhp91 You're forgetting that BYU replaced their entire O-line as well from 08 to 09. BYU just replaced them better then OU did. Oklahoma had one of the best front 7 in the country that year regardless of their record, and BYU's green O-line held strong.

still remember where I was when i found out the score of this game. Oklahoma was a tough team. With Bradford healthy i think they would have beat texas and texas gave alabama a heck of a game. BYU has to learn how to beat TCU again before they can ever figure to be in the national conversation. why cant tcu's football team be more like their basketball team!

I ain't trying to discredit BYU. I think BYU is good.. It's all these other schools and fans who think OU wasn't a contender. OU was predicted to struggle before the season even started. I thought it was going to happen in the Miami, Texas games! Well, it looked like it started early for us.. Go figure.

Because the sport of gridiron football was invented by college players (Rutgers/Princeton and Yale's Walter Camp), for college players and the NCAA is over 25 years older than the NFL. Add to that the fact that the NFL is, was and still is a Northeast-heavy league that ignores major cities of the South and the West. Thus the MWC, Pac-10, and SEC are more popular than the NFL in these areas. The fact that Los Angeles has no football team while New York has 2 is proof enough.

Seriously, you have to wonder why cities like Buffalo and Green Bay have teams and LA, Portland, San Antonio, Salt Lake City and Las Vegas have none in the NFL. To me it's all about the old guard and the fact that the NFL was originally a train league in Ohio and the Great Lakes region. I'm suprised Canton, Racine, Rock Island, Adron, Dayton and Toledo still don't have teams.

Man, i've never seen better fans then all of you FSU fans that posted on this page. I'm a good fan myself. I'll give respect for anyone's favorite team(s. I'll give respect to my upstate rivals. even though Utah can have some of the dumbest fans of all time, but some of them are cool.

And thank you BYU for having some of the classiest fans a team could have. Its hard to remain cordial after a heartbreak and those were some seriously classy fans. Hope the rest of the season goes well for you.

P.S. That tight end at BYU puts the "chosen one" Kelen Winslow to shame. sorry cane fans, but even you have to admit that guy was a total asshole.

This is the best highlight I've seen. Great music. Try eliminating the downtime between music. Nice slow motion on the quarterback hits. Try emphasizing the downs on the two goal line stands. Add the delay of game on 4th down. I loved the matching the music slow down and slow motion on the field goal attempt -- suspense. I've already emailed this video to about 100 people. Nice job!

I was there as a BYU fan, and besides the win one thing that you will find is that Oklahoma fans are the classiest in all of football! Not one fan was out of line trying to make excuses for the loss they were great and even offering congratulations...they knew it was our superbowl to play them in Cowboys Stadium. Now let's not choke Cougars and show the world how good we can be week in and week out as FSU wants us to die.

LOL, thing is I'm also an Ohio State fan, so my teams keep getting spanked into submission by the Noles. I felt FSU was the better team than BYU position-by-position, at least on paper, but that FSU just hadn't pulled itself together yet.  Unfortunately for the Cougs, they did just before arriving in Provo. And BYU didn't help themselves with all the dumb mistakes.

With or withut Bradford I'm not so sure the result is any different. BYU came better prepared to play. Look at the way they both came off the field at the half...Oklahoma looked shell-shocked and BYU looked ready. Everybody thought BYU was a speedbump for OU on the way to another title shot and maybe another Heisman, but a funny thing happened on the way to the coronation! Funny that the best competition for BYU this year may be from the MWC!!

Pandasxx3, the sooners don't play as a one man army. WTF kinda talk is that? Bradford got hurt and the team struggled to move the ball. THat was obvious. Another big problem was the play calling by Bob Stoops. It was terrible and horribly predictable. I'm not taking anything away from BYU, because they are a GREAT team! But don't sit there and blurt out something dumb like that. And as a loyal Sooner fan, I hope BYU has a great season, as I do every team that we play. And Bradford will be back.
