A lot of derby cars/trucks use sbc's no matter what they are ford, chrysler/ amc etc.

Woh I tought this was the truck from Payson AZ. Some one there also had a Chevord # 57! Must of been a fan.

yeah it was just a ford, a 81 ford f250 with a 400 BBF and 4 speed, granny low gears, and a peace oh shit nonfloter rear.
then i got it and put a 305 out of a 77 chevy camaro and tranny out of a 73 pontiac (with a adaptor plate) and a 78 ford rear end. the first time out it had the rusted ford bed, a mistake. so i put a 84 chevy pick up bed on and went to town.
