However, one needs to study the history and politics from both the western and eastern/chinese side in order to understand why north korea acts the way they do. The korean war is a significant factor on what china remains the dprk's closest ally. I dont defend the dprk's devious acts but it has a skepticism against foreign control and especially the usa.
