The trinity is derived from scripture where it says the father has what it takes to be god, so does the son, and the holy spirit. When my grandfather died my sister was upset that I did not cry because she didn't understand that I was more reserved and was grieving in my own way, which wasn't openly.

Most Muslims I know of are opposed to the fundementalism, though they don't always express it in a noticeable way.

That is likely true, the fundamentalists are loud, potent, and dangerous, I am sure a great many Muslims do not care for them in the least, but when you live in a world where those fundy types can slit your throat, you are far more unlikely to make your voice heard.

Most professing Muslims (especially the ones living in the West) are opposed to MOST of the terrorists acts committed by their Muslim brothers and sisters. But like you said, they have no voice in the community because they're both afraid and because they know they don't have the testimony of the Koran on their side.

That said, according to polls I've seen in the past, at least a good half of Muslims are in favor of some kind of sharia-based law in their countries of residence. That is a problem, and one that often gets overlooked because of the terrorism thing.

So in the end, they may disagree on the means (use of terrorism) but they're still mostly in agreement on the ends (sharia law in Western countries). They're still enemies of the West/Christianity.
