My friend, as a Military Vet and a Police Officer, I have lost too many friends to count, too many Brothers in Arms, too many fine warriors taken early in life over the years. I know they are watching down and protecting us until our day comes to stand the watch with them from Heaven above. Their memory and legacy shall forever live through us as long as we shall speak their names and tell their story. Rest Easy to Fallen; you did your duty well and made us all proud.
I'm sorry for your loses. My dad is in the navy & currently deployed I hope nothing happens to him or anyone else on the ship on this deployment or any of the future ones.
What really gets to me is the little kids......They have to live with out their Mother, Father..etc...just cracks me up.....No fallen solider is NEVER forgotten...RIP
