  • That is a booster or SLUG unit. These only have traction motors, no diesel prime mover.

  • @TheSuperdude827 That is a extra power , or back up , when a load is to heavy or a motor fails in a enigine or locomotive those keep it going , I use them in my passenger trians all the time
