  • I have sat and listened to just about everyones version of this song on youtube Clapton,Beck,Winters etc. etc. and nobody comes close to doing what this man has done with this tune .R.I.P. Bigdaddy and @ Cedric rock on dude .come back to GIPS PLACE when you can.

  • Was at Ole Miss from '96-'00 We got to see R.L. a lot since we were 20 miles down the road in Oxford. Liked him ever since I went to school there...only now, a few years after his passing really really really appreciate the opportunity I had to see and hear this music live and a few other North Mississippi acts.

  • @honeyb722 I met him in '96, spent an hour with him. Will never forget the hour or so I spent with him. How fortunate to have sipped whiskey with him and jammed. RL was such a super nice person.
