Very cool. My bug likes to sing and blow kisses. I sure wish I wouldve gotten him when he was a baby. I got my Quacker Parrot when he was very young and he is a very loving and trusting baby. He screams Mommy and says whatcha doin, huh? He also walks around the house like he is human, so very cool. He is my true baby.

@snoogly my friends left me in charge of theirs (2 of them) for a couple of weeks while they were on vacation.... i really liked them and had fun with them .. i even made them some toys :D (they liked them XD ) they were really fun .... so i want to get some budgies :) but i wanted to ask .. will it make any difference if i get them from a pet shop rather than a breeder? i hope i get one just as playful and affectionate as sven :) will it be timid if i get it from a pet shop?

PACHEW PACHEW! My budgie makes ridiculous noises too... he tries to say "I love you" but it sounded like "Wywuh wuuu" and I said "I love you" in a funny voice. So now his crazy little sound has changed into "we we we we woob boo we haa" and he likes to switch it around sometimes. Budgies are like a human best friend...

Please how did you tame your bird? I have two budgies and they're stubburn, however I'm impressed at snoogly. My birds name are Tokken and Knox. Thank you for sharing your bird.

I got Sven when he was about 4 weeks old, then held him and talked to him as much as I could until he was able to fly. By that time he had bonded with me. Sorry, I wouldn't know about how to deal with adult budgies - but I guess they can 'feel' if someone wants to befriend them.

@renemonica I think your birds are probably bonded to one another, not stubborn. Like Sven, my budgie was alone, I spoke to him constantly, played with him daily, and he began speaking quite early.
