First things first, awesome ending. Period.

Secondly, kids these days can never understand the mindset of someone playing in the arcades. There was no "cheap", there was no strategy or tactic shoddy enough not to be used. Dieing less was in direct correlation with the amount of time you could spend playing, so anything went. Not to mention these games were out to get you, they were about survival, anything was good enough to get through.

Those skeleton warriors were pretty influenced by the movie "Jason and the argonauts" I bet. A fine effort by the stop motion master Ray Harryhousen.

yeah, and in streets of rage, blaze is the best to use. she has the best all around ability. i think they did this for anti sexist reasons, because before this, many games had female characters playing victim or just not measuring up to the male character.

In the Arcade when some of those enemies scream to their Deaths one of them sounds like he saying ahhh s*#!....that is a noticable difference from the Genesis

It is the easy mode, I remember when I played hard mode and it was longer than this. In hard mode you battle with golden knights. But the best is to play with another one to share the work.

Assim você atinge mais pontos.........ah outra dica......quando jogar de dois players na fase de bonus (magia e energia) se tirar sangue do seu parceiro até acabar as barras na fase seguinte ele aparece com o life cheio!!!!

Ack, I just tried to beat this game and died at the end boss, Death Adder. I was so close too. That's always annoying in an old school game, cause you know you have to start from the very beginning all over again. It is a short game though so it's not that bad.

I've been played with Golden Axe for many years, but the version I know, continues after you rescue the King and the Queen: your character goes in another scenario through the big door you can see in last scene, and after few fights versus some shadow-fighters, you must fight once again versus the final boss, but this time he has more powers... do you know this version, or it could be found only for SEGA consoles? Thanks in advance for all clarifications!

the mega drive version was harder, after killing death adder u face death bringer who has all the special powers like u have and 2 annnoying skeletons helping him. i always had 2player mode with someone helping me to complete this game
