Wow, tough call on this one. The problems experienced by police after Katrina is a symptom of a larger problem. People aren't supposed to act like animals just because of a disaster! People have changed, they don't pull together anymore in times of hardship-they prey instead.

This left the area a mess because of the large gun count. Police felt threatened and resorted to marshall law type tactics.

Believe me I am as upset as you, but I feel we need to use the ballot box. The tragedy is too many Americans have become complacent or adopted an attitude of "what's the use?" If we do not wake up, we are a doomed nation, and a doomed people.
