I suggest that folks who are worried about gay and lesbian soldiers MOVE to another country. Gay folks have served in the military since its inception, it's about time people like you recognize this simple fact and get over it. How do you think men can spend long nights in the jungle and still have good morale?

i don't agree with don't ask don't tell, but the woman is actually being logical and makes sense.

The law says that gays cannot serve in the US military so don't ask don't tell is essentially allowing gays to serve in the US military by not asking questions.

If gays want to serve openly than the law needs to be changed. This woman is right that the reason that 12,000 have been discharged is because they were allowed to serve no questions asked. From whatever point of view DADT is bad law

I had a great time in the NAVY, I screwed more dudes during those five years than I can even remember. Most had girlfriends, some were even married. I was there at that hearing today, and I have never felt so proud of so many of our elected officials. Wow, did they get the message, and did they ever get the message across.
