It's not really lowering the pitch, it's altering the speed of everything. When you increase or decrease speed, of course it will raise or lower pitch! After all, pitch is based on the speed of sound waves.

all this does is ajust the speed of the chips by wiring an ajustable oscilator + potentiometer to it.... not very impressive.

seems the pitch bender is liked to the main CPU clock voltage rather than the Audio frequency output.

Yup, anything you want. Nanoloop, LSDJ, etc. Probably $80-$100. Installing the mods is no easy feat. Keep and eye for it on eBay.
