GT5 has really bad engine sounds , even the previous GT games . That Audi v8 sounds horrible , if you would compare it to FM3 , you will hear the truly original sound .I believe GT5 would make up for the sounds with other things .Come to think of it , Gran Turismo 4 had very horrible sounds such as the tire squeal.

It souds like a V8, at least. But not like an Audi R8. This is the same freaki´n sound that the Audi RS6 had in GT4, just with a higher pitch. And the same the R8 had in GT5P... Nothing like an Audi V8... Disapointing... Again, at least it sounds something like a V8. I just hope that all the cars have engines sounds that match their engine type. I don´t care if they don´t have there true engine sound anymore. I just don´t want to hear a C5 vette with the "vaccum cleaner." Or a S4 V6 with a 4cyl

Please do some research before you make comments like that. Although I agree GT will be a much better racing game/simulator, Forza's physics do not "totally suck" because they have included pretty much everything(Tire deformation/G forces..etc) GT5 has planned on implementing minus a few things. The damage model system however, is subpar compared to GT5....at least from trailers, and the AI is a lot worse in Forza, but there's no way of knowing until the game is released.

@izabelini Well, actually when crashing a car spinning on wheels is expected. That is, unless you don't nosedive into a wall. Anyway, while i start to appreciate more GTs physics (To the point i start to think that is not only the damage that gets more realistic and less forgiving with level up), the AI still sucks to me. It's too friggin' slow for me, it just doesn't do the job to hold me back for long, because as soon as there's a corner i manage to pass 'em easily.

on, cars get ahead of you in straights. And that's the balance of it i think, hard on straights but you get the advantage on turns :P Still though, it gets a lot harder,

and the intense feeling i get which i didn't get in the older GT's makes me

want to play the game more and more... and more.

(Challenging games is my style)

You are right by saying that the sound effects can´t be judged from an offscreen video, but i can tell you, it does not matter to me how they sound, as long as they have their engine type sound correctly. This R8 does not sound like an R8 regarding on how ugly or cool it sounds, but I´m happy that it sounds something like a V8 engine at least.

I've driven the R8 in gt5 prologue and it sounds better if you turn the volume up ( i have a surround sound headset) and it sounds much better. But i dont like this car anyways..as you can see in the video its hard to control :/
