i knew someone in Glasgow - Scotland that bought a so called digital SLR with a brick inside it and the Lcd Screen was a bit of plastic glass stuck on to the back of the film camera to make it look like a digital slr.

it was under the name of a Canons no Canon "Canons Eos Digital.

That "Scan" and "Reset" buttons are for the "optional radio" built into it. You can see there's a headphones jack on that side too. The Scan button is used to scan for radio stations. Each time you press it, it scans for the next radio station it can pick up. I forget what "Reset" does though. The point is, it works like a cheap radio you could buy for a dollar.
