When the zombie's attack, you sir, will be well prepared. LOL.

  • Got some mold on your doorway there. Get some bleach on that s#!t stat. Mold's hell'a bad for the lungs and can cause an immune deficiency. Not to be a dic kor anything. Liked your video... used to be in pest control and it always amazed me that people will pay $500 for ants, and leave the real harm indoors.

  • @tacoland2000 Now that's a good point!

  • @tacoland2000 Who r u? Dale from the King of the Hill cartoon? LOL No offense, just kiddin.

If your car looks like crap....nobody wants to steal it.

If your house looks like crap.....nobody wants to break into it.

    If your wife looks......

  • How do your kids like it out there are they going to stay or do they hate it an will leave at 1st chance

How was the summer out there did you do ok with the heat??

  • @krl8814 They don't but it's WAY better than the "Hood" ! Yes they will and have but a couple keep coming back. It gets hotter than hot. I used to revel in it but nowadays...not so much but I think cold is worse LOL!

  • @Iwillbedurnd Lol... also, man... somebody would be a hellacious fool to try and steal from a yard like yours. That may be the best defense you have... everybody knows any yard like that has a gun-toting mother behind it, aiming a scope. You actually have, like, a rampart of sorts.

  • @tacoland2000 Antipersonnel Measures Not only for deterrence but for containment as well. Meaning, it's just as hard to get out as to get in LOL!

  • hi my names mike and this here's my friend frank and were pickers from iowa, would you mind if we take a look around?

  • how did u end up out there, whats the story?? intresting..

  • @Urgearhead I didn't want any of my kids to go to any schools I went to.

  • you live in a junkyard?

  • @quicklady No My yard of junk lives with me. LOL Out here it's a good idea to keep "Junk" around.

  • @2cutthroatterrorist Yep, on the road to hell's Gate. try to figure it out. A good map reading, training opportunity

    ;)~

  • keep the wood long. if needed for construction purposes you can always cut as needed but you cant glue em back together

  • @rdblief I did keep it long plus there's so much warped and split that if I wished I could have it both ways!

  • @rdblief I did keep it long. Plus there's so much warped and split that if I wished I could have it both ways!

  • Thank you . You are the man of the moment around here. Joe Kvasnicka.

  • Start digging, or find some old mines, and if you can do that. Get those propane tanks filled and haul em to the hole or shaft and you will be sittin' pretty. Yous is the yard the neighbors cringe at, but will be the first they flock to when SHTF. How are you doing these days? Fellow Nevadan

  • @99melissalynn I'm ok I guess just get'n along!

  • get the hell out of there. I don't see one living thing around except for you...and that won't be for long in that barren land when SHTF. I`d rather fight the zombie hordes.

  • @DuncanL7979 You would be Very surprised. The longest underground river in the world is right beneath my feet! But still I may have to make that decision, and soon! No jobs.

  • Is that the CA High Desert? I swear that looks a lot like where I grew up...in Hesperia.

  • @NurseBMF Well I am a bit high lol...in elevation at 3300 but it's like a little knob just at the edge of the Nevada Basin and Range and I'm in the Mohave desert. I wish I was though. The Mohave is really desolate. I'll look Hesperia to see

  • "Wood's wood." It's not the size of your wood that matters... :)

  • @NurseBMF Uumm I could not agree more! LOL!

  • Where I live you can't own that many cars well you can but you would spend a small fortune on insurance that the state mandates you have. If you don;t have insurance you have to turn in your tag there is a way you can keep the tag and drop the insurance but it is just a huge hassle. What they are doing is making it to where people will not own as much stuff that to me hurts the economy more than if we didn't have insurance. I am not too mobile might do some good to move there all you need is H2O

  • Motor home would b a great prep vehicle in some situations

  • You know your neck of the woods, so to speak, better then anyone else. You know what works and what doesn't. If messy works, go for it. Most times my garage is that way til I can't stand it anymore, or can't find what I'm looking for or forgot where I left it in the pile. That also works for me. When they see the mess they don't bother, cause they don't know where to start.

  • I think haveing all that junk all scattered like that leaves you open to having people go poking around to see if there is anything in that mess that people my need.

  • @LocknL0ad If they ask they are welcome to it .. for now. And for much of the time later. If they don't that's Meenee's job and he is very good at his job! Thats if they're lucky. If I catch them I would see it as an exelent training opportunity

  • My husband and I stumbled on you. I am into gardening and they had you I suppose due to your YARD. We found you very down to earth and that you are pulling yourself up. I liked your motto "I live by my wits can't by my worries because they won't work."

Being a woman and gardener, I thought it would be nice to use some of those empty containers for for some cactus. Hey even a YARD like yours needs some green. Go for it spruce it up some. Thanks for sharing your YARD.

  • @leapingfroglady YES to FrogLady. A lot of cacti are edible. Start out with prickly pear cactus. The flowers are edible, the tunas are edible, and even the green flat paddies are edible. If you can start growing the smooth spineless prickly pear cactus. Aloe Vera is also edible. Install some big solar panels and you can run your air conditioners without being on the grid.

  • yah ik, i steal wood, sooooo thanks for the free worod:)

  • yah ik, i steal wood, sooooo thanks for the free world :)

  • that is not gettho it is REDNECK

  • u have thousands of dollars in scrap metal there! u should haul that crap to the metal recycler, sort it if u have time, alum, copper, iron, catalytic converters($75a piece), etc, etc. use that money for preppin some good stuff that wont wiegh u down if shtf.

  • @jwgbmp40 I'm with that. I saved it up for caring for a large family. The family is no longer so mebbe operation "Lighten up" should be started

  • Out here there springs in the hills but the chemical quality is an issue with salts and arsnic. I do have a solar panel that I dug out of the trash. I wonder if I have the stuff in the "Yard" to hook it up? LOL!

  • Water should be high on your list as well... And you could go solar for your electricity.

  • @TruthWarriorFilms YES...collect the little rain water that you get as it comes off of the roof of your mobile home. Store it in some rain barrels.

  • hatians love cats too, they love to boil them and serve them with grits

  • @valdostastate77 Cats don't taste very good.....I've heard. The pelt doesn't do well either...I've heard.

  • thanks for the info sir. I shall not visit the desert in a SHTF situation lol

  • @juice7916 Sound medical an psyciactric advice!LOL

  • I like your take on security, it takes more to get your slice, than you'd get coming to take mine. Just found ya, think I'll sub.

  • @1985lsf Very well put. I love language arts!

  • Cats are badass, I love them too!

  • Leave the wood long, in case you need a long piece for a repair. You can always cut it shorter when you need it but, you can't add it back on once you do.

  • cool vid!

  • @greygoosevodka1 Thanks!

  • @badbrainprep thanks!

  • Great point about the desert. Most looters are lazy and will not go where it is hard or where it looks dangerous.

  • your better off than yankeeprepper he thanks the law will stand there and protect him from 6 mil people and hes going to block off the street and when he wakes up the next day it will all be over lol i feel bad for him he dont know jack how to keep safe

  • @jcb570 Truely said

  • IF the van doesn't work you can always turn it into a camp type trailer or enclosed work trailer. Just replace the engine with a mount for putting in a generator and you have instant camping set up with power and it even comes with a 20 gallon gas tank LOL

  • @JagdtygerII Finally, someone better than me!

  • Hey

you could be on that tv show hoarders!

  • @kysmik I seen that. I don't even come close. Though I could. I have been told to cut down by some of my loving family members.

  • Awesome place man! Get rid of that GM van and replace it with a water collection setup.

  • @paintbrush12340 I'll use it as a dehydrator. I'll have to scrape the tint off though!

  • Good setting for a zombie movie.

  • Have you spotted any graboids? haha

  • @gumdokim LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL! They can't cross the California state line. Along with fruits and vegatables!!!

  • @Iwillbedurnd lmfao now im gna have to watch Tremors do see if graboids can't cross Cali state line hehe btw I subbed

  • @gumdokim Thanks for the sub! They can't get to me anyway up here in these rocks HA!

  • @gumdokim haha thats rite they cant go thru concret or rock good point

  • Are you in the Salton sea area? southern cali?

  • @gazaking765 No more inland and north east of it. I'm on the eastern wall of death Valley bout the middle in Nevada.

  • Well wife's dead kids most gone here real soon it'll be free for the taking lol

The kidnap thing I didn't think of and I'm about the least valuable member of the group. If I trained them right I would be an acceptable loss.

  • @Iwillbedurnd WOW sorry, i didn't read your profile first. i really like your vids! you have a lot of heart. i love the desert, are ther any good dry camping/boondocking areas around you?

  • @mountaintramp1 no worries mate. As far as docking boons that's all there is. One of the legs of the mint 400 goes rite thru town!! Get google earth and you'll be amazed!! Camping you can do but it's best done with your wits whittled sharp!!!

  • leave the wood long. if you cut it all it's good for is firewood. if you're worried about theft, just move it someplace safe.

if i came out there to rip you off, i'd just kidnap you and make you're wife and son deliver the rest of your stuff to me, in my bunker, so ha!

and are you kidding! when town "turns off the electricity" you'll leave!! WTF!! that's when you want to be there. sell some of that stuff and get a generator!!

  • Dude you should visit Daves Farm on Youtube. He has lot's of stuff.

  • You sir are a diamond in the rough! Pure gold!

  • LOL "chemically impaired" deals can be awesome. I would leave it long, but you may want to cut it now while the fuel needed is readily available?

Those astro vans are astorTURDS. lol The 4.3 would get a bad valve in the back right usually too.

  • where is the lawn mower?...........

  • @ironhead41 ahaha you got me there Actually water is too expensive for a lawn!!

  • @ironhead41 Lawn Mower ? There was no grass, there to mow ...

  • @RCvolunteer1978 most junked up yards have several lawn mowers needed or not......my junky yard does.....hahaha

  • I like the video. It made me laugh when you referenced that Pacer. Yea, I think about bugging out everyday, and leaving everything behind. Knowing where to go is the issue. There is no perfect plan. I just discovered something this weekend that I overlooked. Bridges across rivers. We won't be able to cross them. We have to bug out to places before we reach rivers.

  • Cut it short. A guy would steel a long piece for fixing a roof or something. When they are cut short, you cull the pool of potential thieves by half.

Then, you would only have fire wood thieves to worry about.
