I don't know why this was posted as a video response to Funeralopolis. The two songs are extremely different. Funeralopolis follows the more traditional Electric Wizard with the pure stoner rock sound. While this is more like a kind of thrash metal.
@warlocksarewatching My dear friend i totally disagree with almost everything that post here. First of all if you like labels in music (I personally find them difficult to use in some cases) electric wizard are not a stoner rock band but a stoner/doom metal band the difference is big, compare electric wizard to kyuss( whom I believe is the first stoner rock band) and you are going to understand why I think electric wizard are stoner metal.
@warlocksarewatching Second of all I have never hear a thrash metal song last for 7+ minutes, nether this song has the key characteristics to be a thrash song like fast tempos , double bass drumming or the complex guitar riffs. I don’t think that are extremely different song, yes they have differences but not in any way extremely you sound like comparing it to jastin bieber song :-)
@theofilo13 No...they sound very different. Open up this song and then funeralopolis on another tab, they sound insanely different in music at least. This just sounds more metal in general, really. If you look at the transformation of Electric Wizard from their first to their most recent album the sound has really changed. Wizard in Black is a great example of this.
