I owned a 78 Accord (25 yrs ago) & it sounded similarly peppy - especially when I removed the air filter cover and let it breathe. That car got 40mpg...a legit all-around 40-miles-to-the-gallon. It went through brakes though, I think every 4-5 months I was doing a brake job...I had that one task perfected...I could use two hydraulic jacks & change front brakes in about 12 minutes.

thats the old one, the video was from around 04 or 05. I will post up a new one in the spring. The motor sounds a little different now.
