While I don't necessarily think this is funny, I think it's a spoof on the role he played as King George VI & his inability to speak. I mean, that was the whole point of the movie, n'est ce pas? The fact that the king was a stammerer?
Personally, I adore Colin - have done so for a number of years (even before he hit the big time). He's an exceptionally talented man and is extremely classy to boot.
LOVE the movie! Congrats to him for the win!! (Wish Helena had won, too!)
