i just had a reallly good idea. if u have an hdmi then plug that into your tv from your xbox, then plug av's from xbox to dazzle and dazzle to computer. the xbox puts out both hd and av signals at the same time so would this work. it would let you still play in hd on the tv

I don't exactly remember how long it is, but you will definitely need an extender for the cable. If you go to somewhere like best buy, you should be able to get a cheap USB extender for around 20 bucks.

I would also like to point out that it does in fact matter if red and white are mixed up. That is the left and right speakers, so if you have them mixed up, it won't record the sound correctly. Sounds that would normally be on the right would be on the left, and vise versa.

I have a question. i have my xbox in my room right above my computer whcih is downstairs. i have a tv like yours and im not sure about the spliters and stuff. and for my xbox live wire i run it out my window, the cables 30 feet long. If you have the two RCA outputs on your T.V. (Front and back) then you don't need splitters. But if anyone knows how to run wire in your house, you can put the cable through the wall to the downstairs. Although if your planning to just put it down the stairs, tape/staple it to the wall.

Good video, however I would like to add that

RED =right sound WHITE = left sound

so if you plug them in backwards the stereo sound will be backwards, so it does make a difference.

The splitters you need are the ones with 1 male end, and 2 female ends. You're going to need 3. I bought them at a Best Buy too so you shouldn't have any trouble. Just ask for 3 RCA splitters.
